How to Start Using MetaMask Crypto Wallet
A step-by-step guide to installing and start using Metamask
MetaMask is a noncustodial Ethereum wallet application. It allows us to access our accounts on Ethereum, transfer funds, and interact with DAPPs.
If you ever wanted to use DeFi platforms or develop your own the chances are you’ve heard about it and that is for a reason. It’s the most popular and highly customizable. The feature set is minimalistic and easy to use. It’s also possible to interact with other EVM-compatible blockchains like Harmony, Avalanche, Fantom, etc, and also developer nodes.
Well, that’s enough introduction for now. Let’s learn how to install MetaMask and start interacting with DAPPs.
Installation
MetaMask exists in two forms. Browser extensions and a mobile application. Here are the download links for each platform that are directly taken from the official download page.
In this guide, I’m going to use Chrome but the steps are more or less the same no matter which platform you choose.
